Is it possible to hook up a Texas Star CB amp to a handheld (portable) CB radio without damaging it?
I was going to attach a magnet mount antenna in the handheld. I know I need an adapter. The HH has a switch to low power ... I am assuming that the deadkey is 2 watts or less. I have a 12V supply going over the amp since it is DC.
Update ....... the amp is a power outage course. They say to put out a good 100 watts. Not to sound stupid. The switch on top of the handheld is 4 watts and the switch to low is 2 watts or less.
