If you mean those who promise to teach you how to get rich quickly, they are almost always scams. If you hear a good education investment, you might want to try the skills on the Financial Services Skills Council website, under approved examinations and tests recommended. Reliable suppliers include 7City, BPP and Kaplan. I have not tried any of them, but they have all been around for a while and I do not get the feeling they are iffy. They all agree about how long the courses etc and BPP has been approved by a university by the British government earlier this year.The IMC, SII certificates, CEFA, CEMA and qualified financial planning of the UCI. These are all the qualifications but they are surprisingly short. If you just want a brief introduction, try Introduction to investing, the ISI.
